Kinnari & Pawan's Gorgeous Indian Wedding at The Rockleigh
Kinnari & Pawan first met when Kinnari’s best friend from college persuaded her to venture out to Lillie’s, a Victorian-style bar in Union Square during a snowstorm. Kinnari had little desire to brave the cold, but eventually she relented. At the bar, Kinnari’s friend was the first to spot Pawan. Swinging into matchmaking mode, she dramatically knocked a menu off the table asking Pawan to pick it up as he walked by. Noticing another woman in Pawan’s company, Kinnari was at first discouraged. But when the groups mingled, Kinnari learned that the other woman was Pawan’s cousin. Hours of enchanting conversation later, Pawan offered to drive the girls home. Before saying goodnight, the two exchanged numbers and began what would eventually blossom into a whirlwind romance.
Joined by family and friends, Kinnari & Pawan were married in a Hindu wedding ceremony at the Rockleigh Country Club, after dancing the night away at their beautiful sangeet, held at The Tides Estate. We had a blast producing this same-day-edit, which included a fun concept shoot at the site of their first meeting, Lillie’s Bar in Union Square, and Times Square in the heart of New York City. We couldn't be happier for this amazing couple and their newly joined family!
